Interesting choice of bolts holding the central main strap on. I only say that as I had the same bolts and washers on the engine I'm rebuilding and several of you have advised me to change them. Isambard Kingdom Brunel said:

Bidder beware, I don't believe this is TurboTim selling this engine but someone who has messed around with the original spec. I contacted the seller with regards to a more comprehensive spec list, first time he said he could tell me much about it second time he told me it had powermax forged flat top pistons! but was claiming 7.5:1 CR in his listing. The curious thing was he calls himself Tim and says he won avon this year. Now, I think whoever bought the engine from TurboTim is using his name to flog on an engine that has probably been stripped of all its goodies. |
