MINI TURBO ENGINE AND RUNNING GEAR WANTED, LET ME NO WHAT YOU HAVE (THAT ONE ON EBAY AT THE MOMENT IS ABIT OUT OF MY LEAGUE) IVE ONLY GOT AROUND THE £1200 MARK TO SPEND.....ENYTHING CONSIDERD.....CHEERS

ric, might pay divident to have a search through the forum, and find out exactly what you do and do not need

i.e. a turbo engine is pretty much the same as any other 1275A+ if your gonna rebore it as the only difference (pistons generally) will be discarded.

Also the running gear iirc is also the same as mini stuff (bar the 3.2 diff, input nose bearing and 4 pot brakes, which arent necessary anyway)

if your looking for a complete std metro turbo engine in mint condition and no problems that you can bolt straight in....youll be looking a very long time.

do some research, and keep your eyes peeled and if you do a lot of the work yourself, that £1200 could go quite a long way to turboing you mini.

You could nearly get a rebuilt engine for that sort of money eg http://www.morspeed.co.uk/minienginescomplete_turbost2.htm you'd need a bit more for the carb, turbo manifolds though.
