i need to get a new fuel pump what psi does it need to be ?

Near Lincoln

needs to be an injection roller vane type pump.

these come from around 35psi upwards.

They provide the continuous flow thats required. as ngl said i can do new bosch ones if you need.

what about a fuel pump off a mark 4 xr3i would this do the job ? as i colud get one of these from local scrappy for much cheapness !
iain didnt know you was outa the uk, i wanna try and do it on a bugget what donna cars could i get a secound hand pump from ?

EFI Ford pump will be fine. Stay away from Mechanical injection pumps - especially RSTurbo ones!

I am in the uk, just didnt know if you were *smiley*

as said any injection pump will do the job, some better than others, i bought a complete SPI tank, pump etc in mint condition for ?40 last week *smiley*

Im using the metro turbo one though, i was told its ok to use that? Hoping its ok now as ive just mounted it on my subframe!

Forgotten more than most ever know

SPI Mini pump only supplies 1 bar +/- 4 % constant pressure according to Rover repair manual supplement AKM 6799. Good for boost up to 10 psi but if you want more then the pump will not supply enough pressure.

Yeah, it is only for 10psi jukka, when i get more boost ill have had the engine rebuild with ally tank and metty pump *smiley* Just wanted a quick solution for the minute!

Feeb's metty turbo is fine
