got my block rebored and honed at a rebuild, put pistons in all ok, run it in and taken head of to put new one on and it seams like there is quite a bit of slop, eg you can move top of piston around, normal or not on a series engines, i checked on the box with regard to dimensions of piston and what it should be bored to and all looks good there, just cant rem what it was like when standard, they are acralit forged jobbies, more clearence needed for these

YES NOGMIESTERoops caps you do need a bigger clearance for some types of forged pstons , i can hear mine slapping a bit in cold weather ,but it goes quiet when warmed up . yhis is normal for the forged ones i run .
