Does any one know the true chamber volume for the Payen AF460 'Copper' head gasket.

Thanks

So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'...

Yes and Minispares also list the BK450 as 2.8cc. We all know that is bollox, so i doubt the figure they quote for the AF460 is right*wink*

I have measured the AF460 just this minut and guesstimation the compression of the material, the average chamber volume is 4.3cc at 1mm. Uncompressed thickness is 1.1mm

I have measured an old compressed BK450 that had done 78,000miles and that came to 3.8cc at 0.9mm thick

Note that these are average and not specific chamber. We all know that 1&4 are different to 2&3.
