im putting my mates 1293 t3 turbo engine in my standard looking 1976 mini. ive been told by loads of people that i need a turbo box, but upon looking at my mates car, wen his engine was fitted all the done was cut thru the bit of box section welded to the bulkhead, blanked the ends off, and with a heavy rubber mallet tapped a dent in th bulkhead, and every fin sits perfect in there!!! it may b small but it purfectly formed

Yes you will need to remount your heater, but that's not a difficult job.
