Can i use a verto flywheel bolt and 'key washer' (not sure what they are called tbh) on a pre verto clutch? i cant see any problem but i wanna check theres nothing im missing

You can use the bolt - and I guess you 'could' use the stepped washer aswell? You will need to use loctite however :)

Certainly can, no problem.

I usually replace all that stuff at a rebuild however as I have had them come loose ... not nice, especially on the M25 in morning rush hour!!!

Loctite is a good option, just need thread lock, don't go too heavy duty as you'll struggle to get it off next time.

Every day is a school day ...........

How fast and how expensive ...... the same question...

I angle ground the spotted on lock tab off the verto bolt and used that with the preverto lock tab and preverto keyed washer


Reason I had a socket that fitted the verto one

does anyone know what spec the material should be of the stepped locating washer as I ordered one from moss over 2 weeks ago and still not got it!
The one i removed from the car was damaged after only 1500 miles, does anyone produce a high spec item?
