Maybe you dropped a subaru engine in there instead of an A-Series by accident?

It is an easy mistake to make. Put a lagacy lump in by accident once, went ok though albiet a bit thirsty.

I remember one time i thought i'd turbocharged my sierra estate as it sounded really fast.
I felt a little foolish when i suddenly remembered i'd just stuck one of those 'realistic turbo sound' exhaust whistlers up the tailpipe the day before.
How we all laughed.

Well i once welded 8 RS500 intercoolers together on my A series mini turbo that i bored and stroked to 1740cc, the inlet charge was so cold it froze my fuel..gosh how we chuckled!

i once remember building a turbo engine that went, but that was a long long time ago , even before many of you were born .
How we laugh and laugh about it now , oh how good are childhood tales.

i remember building turbo engines that had very mild cams, slight head mods and lowish(10?) boost, they went like stink and lasted for years, like the one that did 2 days of solid abuse at Cadwell Park and all it did was burn one plug out!!..gosh these highly tuned things these day are a pain in the shitter at times!

Getting my new dirt bike now i have a job again!
