Just wondering is it possible to get rid of the engine crankcase breather hoses and just fit small filters to the two breathers. Just that i am trying to clear a bit of space in the engine bay. If its possible to get rid of them, i take it that the red valve that goes to the air intake can also be removed.

What do you do to the take off from the inlet manifold, would it just be a case of blanking it.

Thanks

Luke

yeah you can have it if i get around to taking it off. What are the actual advantages of having the the breather system on the car, is there any advantage at all.

i had filters then took them of as they keep clogging up causing back pressure in the gearbox, it was that bad i had oil coming up from the pushrod holes not down.

removed them and problem sorted.

all though they were the cheep ones.
