The new -98 needs new rubbercones, and I was thinking about changing the shocks at the same time. My wife are using the car everyday, so it would be nice without a harsh ride. I was thinking about standard cones (will thiese sag at the same rate as the originals??). But what is the best shockasorbers?? GAZ??

I have read that the KYB shocks are good for a road car. And they are cheaper too

I agree with the sport pack Konis.

KYBs on my friends car are good though.

Steer clear of SPAX adjustables for a pure road car IMHO. The first position on the rears is too soft, second position too hard ......... what the hell are the others for????????? Just track cars really.

The coil overs are valved differently, especially the "comfort road" ones which are brilliant for a road car ... can tell you from experience they make a great compromise for a pure road car ... not cheap though.

Every day is a school day ...........

How fast and how expensive ...... the same question...
