ive just fitted remote central locking to my mini, the last bit to do is to connect a wire that flashes the front indicators when you press the button.

Wheres the best place to join the wire? Should i run it to join by the flasher relay under the bonnet? or how about the connector under the indicator stalks? I was wondering if the relay would cause problems if i did that.

thankyou!!!

You'll need a diode bridge otherwise you will cross connect both sides and bugger up your indicators.

did a similar thing in my youth, lol. fittted accesory automatic window closers i.e leave your windows open set your alarm and it closes windows. anyway i needed a feed to trigger the box of tricks. only one i could find was from my indicators, wired it up tried it on the drive lots of times brilliant, well cool. at the time lol

any hows goes for a drive radio on full belt, windows open etc. etc indicated to turn a corner, window goes up nearley took my mates arm off. lol.

no longer a series, but still 1.3 turbo.

Easier to connect to side lights ....... just a thought.

Every day is a school day ...........

How fast and how expensive ...... the same question...
