Hi everyone. I have the late turbo dizzy fitted to my engine(the one with the amplifier module on the side). Firstly I had it connected to 12v but with the engine running this obviously goes up to 14.6volts, so was blowing up modules. it's now connected to the ballast resistor wire, so runs at the right voltage.

it's taken from the stater solenoid

The output on your alternator is a bit high 1293 Turbo mini

The alternator voltage will goto 14.2 output 1293 Turbo mini

Make sure you use the right ignition coil! there are different types with different impedances!! The wrong type will draw to much current hence blow your module.
