Is there a difference between A and A+ thrusts?

I'm missing the thrusts from my new engine but i've got an old new set at home trouble is i'm unsure if they're A or A+. Haven't got the ones out of me old engine to check em against either cos they went up the tip this morning *angry*

if the worst comes to the worst , dry press some banana skins and just cut them to shape and stick them in ,problem solved.

aaaah, didn't think of banana skins...cheers chap!

just googled the part number now i'm back home anyway and it does look like the 1275 thrusts are all the same, cheers Tom.

My next soft question is: got a brand new cam to go in, do i need to polish the black stuff off the bearing journals? please don't laugh at me if its a stupid question!

Yes with a new parkerised cam you gently remove the blacking from the bearing surfaces.

stowmaket suffolk

put cam in a lathe then use a wire brush on a angle grinder that will remove it, but to be honest try the cam in the bearings first, if its not tight then leave it on as will remove itself and shouldnt harm anything, but neads to be free turning to do this. if its tight then yes it will need removing.

always looking for them bigger bunches of bannanas
