Does this look right, in theory;

To make 200hp

200hp = 520,000,000 joules per hour
and
petrol/litre has 34,736842 joules

So to get 200hp, I need to burn about 15.0litres/hour

An I/C engine is about 25% efficient, so really 60 litres/hour is needed
Or 1litre/minute

Petrol requires about 14.7kg of air to burn 1kg of petrol and
Air at sea level weighs 1.222kg/m3
1 litre of petrol weighs 0.747kg
14.7 x 1.0 xn0.747 = 10.98m3 of air OR 10980litres of air/minutes

Now, If I can rev to 7000rpm and have 3 cylinders = 21000 cylinder fills per minutes

10850/21000 = 0.51 litres / cylinder

So I need in N/A form, 0.51 litres capacity per cylinder

Sounds easy doesn?t it , chuckle chuckle
