i had the same problem on mine, i cut about an inch off the end of the water pipe that goes onto the water pump end, this helps to pull the water pipe away from the turbo inlet pipe, will still be tight but i have had no problems doing this "Can I legally marry people now that I am ordained in the Church of the SubGenius?" aka i know jack sh"t

i did what nogin did to worked ok for me to no longer a series, but still 1.3 turbo.

Thanks for the reply guys, Going to look into shortening the hose, and might have a look into making a custom hose, which aint restricted.
