Holy shit!!

The guy that owned these looks like he bought every special edition in 1992.

Certainly retained their value, but will any one actualy pay that these days? for any of them.

So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'...

I think you're right Colin. the 25K asked for the ERA is just unrealistic.

The others at 12500 seem more reasonable, but still a bit pricey. especially when you consider they'll lose all their value if you ever actually use them.

Oh I didn't see the ERA. The other ones for £12.5k are daft.

Not sure it is a misstype. I would price it double those others.

The thing is at that milage it really is RARE, but like Wil says, you can never drive them. Good museam peices.

A fella up our way bought 5 of the latest Sportspacks brand new and stored them for a few years. He must have sold them off by now but not a bad idea. Still I can't see anyone buying a nonsense limited edition for £12500.

JAPAN ............

Have you seen what they are willing to pay for Minis??????? I'm almost tempted to sell my fleet, along with any other Mini I can find to them and retire on the profits.

A decent (not not even good) starship milage Mk1 went out to Japan from Bristol docks in Novemeber for £14k !!!!!!!

That surely can't be the ERA from gaydon. I don't think that was ever registered...

I hope they haven't, that's the only reason i ever bother going!!

25K you could probably buy each individual part new including the shell for less that, and build it yourself!

I know its a Rare classic but tbh there not 25k special!

yeah, that's mint 80's 911 turbo money. And whilst the ERA is very cool, i know which i'd prefer.

Actually quite a serious 80's 911 for that money.

I have a couple of Porkers in the fleet including the car that a lot of motoring journalists say is the best handling road car ever built (944s2-030) and I still love my Mini's.

For me it is 25k special ...... the girlfriend would kill me but going to look at it tomorrow as it's only down the road so to speak ..... she will literally kill me if buy it though ...LOL

Sold the turbo and seeing what the C20XE can do!

Near Lincoln

it could be the gaydon ones as they say they have never been registered.

I did .................

My misses has hidden the check books ... all of them (seriously!!!!!).

To be serious though it is a magnificent example and if I had somewhere I could keep it in that condition I would ahve bought it today just to sit and look at it for a while everyday!

I already have two cars that never move, a '65 Cooper S rally car and a 911 RS light weight (1973, the real one ... no the 74 look alike based on the standard Carrera). Luckly I have people who look after those for me but I don't think there is room for another oversized toy!
