Bad ebayers!!

How long do people generally leave it until they report a bad ebayer?

I bought a MJ unit about tens days ago and emailed the bloke 2 days ago to see if he's shipped it yet, and no response!

The carriage agreement was that it would be sent next day recorded delivery by royal mail.

Since then I have bought another MJ unit from someone else and received it (from MartinM on this site), next day as the first one I bought was the worng type. :$

I don't know but if I was selling anything I'd damage myself to ensure I kept to my word but alas most people on ebay just don't care. I was looking at the TPS unit too and I'm glad I didn't go near it now. I waited 5 weeks once, sending off emails about once a week until the seller finally got in contact. It worked out well in the end but I know I wouldn't do that on someone.

matty put in a paypal claim and explain the dates and things, i just got refunded on an item of clothing for my girlfriend. it was supposed to be custom made, and in the advert it promised to be made the sunday after auction ending, and posted out on the monday. It never arrived a month later, so got a claim in paypal accepted.

Is it fairly easy to get refunds then, as I know someone on here sold a cam to someone in France and they claimed it was a peice of wood in the box, not too sure who they side with most the seller or buyer?

think there is a minimum amount of days you have to wait before you make a claim, but that info should all be on ebay.

I know Mincav, nice guy, never had an issue with him. Check his feedback, looks good to me.

well just so happens that he just reponded saying i received merchandise and signed for it
i'm telling you i never received anything nor did i sign for it
ps paid him in full back on 9 of sept.

I thought this site was a tech site for turbo minis not a place where you can vent your problems with another user of whom i would consider to be quite trustworthy. Not impressed turbo me.

I was a bad ebayer once. But the guy was understanding and was helpfull. I dident think of the weight when i was going to get it sendt here by mail. So he just deleted my bid and continiued.

I sent another mail yesterday, saying that if he didn't reply to my mail by the end of he weekend I would report him.

He finally mailed me back saying that his 'father was i'll and he didn't have acces to a computer' thats the same excuse Ive had the last few times now.

Anyway he said he'd posted it, so I should have it on monday (fingers crossed)...Anyone want a MJ TPS version. LOl

How much do you want for it? Might work out for my mate who is building a carb'd blackbird engined 7esq kit. He wants to stay away from injection as even though he works with me (developing diesel fuel injection hardware) he perfers carbs as he doesn't "do" electronics. Problem is that if he doesn't go for a MJ or similar it'll just det' itself to pieces under the extra loads of a car.

PM me with details and I'll try and twist his arm up his back.
