Mini 4r2!

Sinse I bought my fibreglass minus a few months back, I have been doing a little digging into thier history etc, and found out that the chap who designed the minus, Keith lain, (formally a lotus engineer) built a protoype 4r2, its a grp equivilent of the metro 6r4, I found the article on it in dec '92 mini world.
One of my mates a couple of years ago purchased a minus shell off keith which was the firms demonstrator car, Im now really keen to trace the prototype shell of the 4r2 (fibreglass, turbo mini and rear wheel drive are a few of my favorite things, and to have it in one vehicle would be tops!!!)
If any one has heard of this, or know of one please let me know.

The company had a demo car and a chassis at Malvern in '06 so they are still about.

The demo car looked a little rough around the edges (to the point that I'd doubt it would get through SVA) and the chassis looked like it would fall into the 'could do better' catagory.

Interesting little project though and a bit of thought applied here and there could make it a fantastic trackday tool.

If I didn't already have a 7esq car for the track I'd consider having one and playign with it a little.

How fast and how expensive ...... the same question...

The chap that bought the demonstrator, I believe to be in essex, also believe he purchased the moulds etc from Kieth Lain at the same time. He has posted on the mini minus froum, there is talk of him building some more, not sure how true this is?
