Front Subframe Turret Bolts are 67NM, which is about 50 ft/lbs.

I don't think it's in the Haynes manual anywhere, I know I had trouble finding it when I did mine up the the other day, but luckily TM came to the rescue:

Also 1 foot pounds = 1.35581795 newton meters

Standard bolts are aluminium I believe, but a really poor grade.

Fastcarl or JohnK will be able to tell you about their subframe bolts and the advantages.

I am not doubting Robs information but as standard I have never found any that are really above what I'd called nipped up. How you can have a reasonable torque value when as standard it is compressing two bits of floppy rubber which will relax is beyond me.

67NM seems reasonable for solid mounts though

Every day is a school day ...........

How fast and how expensive ...... the same question...

I'm sure its about 50ft/lb too, and the std bolts are steel.
