well found someone to paint me car up, i rollled her out to take some pics (the garage wants to see what stage the car is in before they quote me)...in a moment of euphoria (which was brough on by my mini in the outside air) i thought i would start rubbing her down further with wet and dry. 45 mins later totally sick as F*** however after a wipe down with a tack rag the paintwork is no longer shiny just got to somehow get it to the garage. she is going to be VW Gelb yellow with a white roof, as inspired by a mini i once saw :) :):) you know who you are buddy ! anyway here is some pics of my lack of progress :)

should add the car was still wet on the roof at the time the shots were taken, and the charge cooler is only retro fitted, it will be fitted more tidy when i get the chance.

vw gelb yellow with a white roof. will be selling the 10" mambas and getting a set of 10 x 7 superlight (if they do em that big) for track use.

The home made looking charge cooler is a great idea .... I have loads of th eall alloy Rover TDi intercoolers that might just work out well as a charge cooler as they can be welded easily. Every day is a school day ...........

:) i have been told off my local club members that i should reduce the shell to bare metal ? is that not a tad excessive, i would have thought it would make painting it much much harder ?
