ok guys,
so I have found a couple of minis that i really like style wise and want some advice and knowledge on how to go about it.

here is a pic of a mini that I really like the arches on. I am told they are gp7s, but surely they are gp 5, they don't look that wide. eitherway, I noticed on some minis with these on there is a huge gap at the front where the arches stop quite high, i.e. lots and lots of wheel is showing at the front. Are there different sizes of gp5 arches or are they just positioned at different angles and heights.
Secondly, granted that I want to lower the arches onto the wheels so they fit snug, which should I do first, fit the arches or lower the car. If so does anyone have guidelines for this. I am going for the same sort of look that is in the pic above.

not sure on the style front....

lower the car 1st, then if you need to mod the arches you can before you paint and fit the arches!

Speaking of arches - do you think Gen Wood and Picket arches will cover 12*6 wheels. The standard arches just arnt wide enough
