nr coventry

lowered front shock mounts! when sould these be purchased & used, is it when you use the lowered shocks? cheers again chaps

mmmm good question.

to me it looks like a one or the other situation.

the shorter shocks are to prevent the shock bottoming out, the brackets are supposedly to put the shock at a better angle, but they do raise the top of the shock too, i think that the standard lenth shocks and the brackets should stop any bottoming out unless the bump stop is chopped down.

Could be wrong though!!

Normally use both if the car is over 30mm lower than standard... always worked for me.

How fast and how expensive ...... the same question...

I was told to use them when you lower the car on adjusters etc… so I did. *wink*

so i should be using a set now i have my hi-lows fitted, i thought i only needed lowered shocks, my car will have about a 1" gap between the tyre & arch edge front & back, will i require a set of these lowered mounts, where do i get them, i only ask cause i've only just heard about them, bet they've been around yrs too
