Mitsi Evo 7, 911, Cossie. & all the chavs ...... won no problem

normal atmo cams are fine for turbo applications for the road but.........

there are many camshafts out there to chose from for the A series engine.

its what you want out of the motor
for you intended purpose.

road only, track and road or race.

one top turbo guru stated that its hard to find a better cam for turbo applications than a stock OEM camshaft.

just my view

a friend has a 998 cam in a 1380, it goes like stink upto 5,000 rpm. IIRC about 78 curlywurlys (Sp) and about 65 bannanas on conservative rollers. It has a 33/29 std head and 1.25:1 std sintered rockers. It makes the perfect lazy road monster!

If it were me i'd be using the same cam with 1.5:1 rockers and a ported 33/29 head.

But these are all NA motors...

i plan to go turbo, 1380, with a gt15 turbo and a sw5 or morspeed ph2 cam. 35/29 ported head. Should max out at about 6,000rpm and give a very relaxed revband.

I've seen the future and tbh its Pie
