Quite cheap but they didnt want to tell me any info on how they balanced their turbos and the guy was a bit of an arse, on the other hand turbo technics were very good and are proven, they cost a bit more though. Just my 2p's worth :) |

I bought a turbine shaft from them a few years ago and had a look around their facility. They have got a VSR to balance turbos and seemed quite helpful when I visited and competitively priced. |

I'm aiming for around 150-170bhp, and I want the most reliable turbo possable, and something that can cope with that sort of power....

The compressor cover is different, so not strictly speaking.

I just asked for a metro t3 with a 0.36 exhaust housing and they said that it'd be fine no extra cost etc, i assume this will work? |

It may help a little at the top end though, as it will be less restrictive. I think the regular Metro housing is a 0.28 ? It a straightforward swap, no special tools required. Ideally its a larger compressor you want though, not a turbine housing. 9.85 @ 145mph

I thought most people upgraded to the escort size exhaust housing as the original is a bit restrictive, what size compressor would you suggest? or should we invest in a more modern turbo like the new garrett range? |

or should we invest in a more modern turbo now your talking sense...... I know I used a 0.36 turbine housing with a 4x4 cossie compressor, inside a modified metro compressor cover. It was laggy, but not so much that it bothered me. With higher compression and better ignition control, it would defo feel better down low that my old car. A more modern unit would defo be worthwhile, but its also going to be more hassle to fit. 9.85 @ 145mph
