I cant be bovered forking out £100+ on a turbo head so im thinking of making one up when i heard it was the same casting. What do i need to do? Is it the upgraded valve guides on jst the exhaust or intake also? And what valves do i need or best getting? Back once again like a renegade master |

My head is just an N/A head, worked fine as it was. It Did have uprated valves. Its a good idea to get the chambers inlarged to help keep the compression ration down though.

I have gone from the standard sodium filled exhaust valves to stainless rimflows with no problems. But again not sure how good standard non turbo valves are! -MINI CLUBMAN 1380 TURBO- |

Do a search on heads and possibly sodium. You'll find what you need. On 13th Jul, 2012 Ben H said:
Mine gets in the way a bit, but only when it is up. If it is down it does not cause a problem. |
