whats peoples thoughts on this, i was advised to do this to my turbo as i will be running more boost then standard, although have been doing some research and no one says to do this even the opposite as it lowers the efficiency of the turbo

It effectivly opens out your exhaust so it is easier for the engine to breath on the exh side.

This of course means that less of the exh energy will spin the compressor - so it will change the point the turbo boosts from.

Might be worth measuring EGBP before you do it, to see if there is a huge restriction there in the first place.

It depends on your blower size, turbine size, and how much power you are making, as to whether it might be worthwhile or not.

202mph standing mile
speed didn't kill me, but taxation probably will
