as the tital.
would say jk primary gear work with another make of input and idler gears?

as long as there all for the same ratio (1:1)??

Yeah the profiles of the gears differ from make to make, they wouldn't mesh properly.

it does depend on the other manufacturers as some may use the same design of tooth/cutter, but typically no i would think

Two types trannex (Minispares)
or JKD special tuning not interchangeable
