TM discount? Didn't know that. I'm paying £315 with an NA 1275 through them and I'm 26 (only 1 year NCB though and considering where I live...). They said £900 when the turbo goes in and I have 2 years NCB. So your getting a good deal! On 7th Nov, 2008 Nic said:

I hadn't bothered getting an insurance quote for a turbo mini age 19, thought there was no point. I think my plans for the summer to drop a n/a 1275 engine in may just have changed, (in favour of a turbo engine) assuming i can afford to sort the bodywork out and rebuild my turbo engine. Seriously go to Miniworld (HIC), 190 quid, not using any of my no claims, 4000 miles limited milage, agreed vlauation. Haven't found cheaper than that. It was about 280 at the age of 19. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Fusion-Fabri..._homepage_panel

Just had a quote from HIC for me 150 BHP turbo, 31, no NCB to use, 5000 mile limited, agreed valuation, no bangs or points £169.90 Always been good for me and my friends, just not Candice!! I was quoted £130 for Mr Woo and almost collapsed laughing. 100 BHP 998 Turbo, Cage, etc, 26, no NCB to use, 3000 mile limited, agreed valuation, no bangs or points. Just be careful if you want to take it Hill Climbing, as HIC will void your insurance if the car is used for any kind of competitive event, even if you have separate insurance for the event, due to public liability. Bare in mind these quotes are for second cars. Isambard Kingdom Brunel said:

what about a trackday? is that classed as a competitive in the insurance eyes?? Track days are allowed as your are not racing against other divers or the clock. Mine actually specifies track use, however the amount of cover you get is questionable when you read the small print. Isambard Kingdom Brunel said:

Ditto, mine "covers" track days. I think you have to give them prior notice at least a few weeks before hand though!
