I dont think it is. Thats only £30 for a 6m length.

I recently priced a 6m length of 1" diam 1.5mm wall stainless tubing from a local supplier and they wanted near £90 !!!!

Im assuming the price of stainless has went up a lot recently. I think tha last 2.5 and 3" 6m lengths I bought were circa £60 or so each.

I also had to pay about £120 for a 15kg roll of 316 mig wire early last summer, which wasnt cheap !!!!

no no your not far off at all... wrong place, GSK (multi-million American company) aint the type of company to ebay 2nd hand pipes.... but certainly right about the new lines. dont know how long thats gonna be, as i say, some parts are on site but not running!
the place where i 'think' it might be thats selling them is on the same road but round the corner!

No thought it could be someone "recycling" some metal, its amasing what some companies just chuck out!

hmmm maybe im wrong on my pricing. When I priced the stainless, I asked for 3 lengths. Im now thinking the £90 was for 3 lengths...
I now think that was for 3, so it would be £30 for a 6m length.

I bought 3 lengths of 1" alu tubing on friday, and they had told me it would be £30, I assumed this was per length.

Now either the guy cocked up, or it was genuine, but I did ask if this price was correct.
I paid £26 for 3 x 5m lengths of 25mm diam x 1.6mm wall alu tubing....

Cant be bad at that !!
