Do I have to use a Metro Turbo inlet?

I have a nice thick PECO inlet, which I'm using as part of my stage one kit...

I was wondering if I could use that?

The turbo inlet is a little taller than most of the 'stage 1' so gives more clearence under the carb for a heat sheild etc.

I guess you could use a normal one if you have clearence but you might cook the fuel..... always used a tuebo one myself.

Every day is a school day ...........

How fast and how expensive ...... the same question...

Just been out to look at my engine as it's out of the car. I don't think you would clear the actuator linkage with the carb even with out a heatsheild on a standard T3 but a T2 on an adapter plate may just ....... although I can't be sure.

Go for a turbo inlet to be sure mate.

Well the inlet I have atm, makes my HIF44 with a K&N...

It actully just about clears the Scuttle... so its a HIGH manifold...

I guess I could always get the bits, and suck and see...

Sold the turbo and seeing what the C20XE can do!

Near Lincoln

Stig, i'd use the turbo manifold with the mirage bits given a choice.

its the one i have used on my setup. needs a slight bit of modding but its dead easy to do.
