TBH i have never seen a second hand one for sale. You may as well bite the bullet and buy a new one.

Unless your prepared to wait a while lol

new is the way to go, IMO something like that needs to be the best you can buy.

sounds like im being shitty but im not, we have talked about this loads of times before the search function should sort you out *wink*

but to sum up, they are loads lighter, helping with the power to weight ratio, and in my case i fitted my carbon fibre one as the original roof was in a right mess so needed replacing!

Yes Mark, I do realise they are lighter and do indeed improve the power to weight ratio (Slightly).
The reason I asked 1573wx, was that I would like to know if his car was was for Race, Hillclimb,Drag or Road use.
Had it been for Hillclimb and as I only live "up the road" I would have made contact to share ideas.

Dave

No Problem Mark, I should have asked the question better than I did.

Dave

If it is for hillclimbing then it is not a great idea as it will put you in a sports libra class, strictly speaking that is.

The shell im building up is an Ex Miglia and the roof has a fair few dents plus some rust! I enquired a while ago about how hard they are to fit and apparently there not too bad! Its a sort of Track Day/Sunday Blast car. Check the pics in Members motors titled Mikes Miglia/Turbo Project!!
