sold me a supposedly high spec engine, turns out it wasnt anywhere near that spec, infact it was completly standard, complety nackered to the extent that a majority of the bits arnt even re-usable.

just to let people know...

lousy seller.

I have being buying a few bits recently so thought it was about time for some thanks.

So good sellers.......

Nic (Highwell plenum, good communication and prompt delivery)

apbellamy (soild mounts and clutch hose, good communication and prompt delivery)

BENROSS (head and short engine, one of the most helpful men i have ever met)

paul wiginton (oil splash tray, good communication and prompt delivery)


A bit of a mixed one, Mike i received half my bits (EDIS stuff) perfect, after a short delay. but i was sent some incorrect bits, witch were double sold. Now this did take a long time to sort out but i did receive brand new items form Avonbar in replacement, not a refund as i may have expected. Like i said some communications were very slow but mike seems a top bloke and i came out happy and with nicer brand new bits. (mike if you believe this to be unfair or inaccurate let me know, I an not trying to slag you off one little bit)

and TurboTom good buyer, prompted payment and patient with the royal snail.

i donbt have an issue, its accurate, although i didnt realise you would of preffered a refund!!! I'm afraid I just wasnt around as much as I usually am. :( Hopefully everyone is sorted now.

Asked for a manifold to be made up, me being trusting bought the materials spent alot of time making it up sending regular pics and updates. I never heard a word back to this day...I really don't understand the mentality of people like this. His loss someone elses gain. lol

i have brought a few bits over time, hardly any have been fitted yet, but will be eventually

EssexSteve, (cobra seat, and i have to say has the best looking garage i have ever been in)

matty, alternator ( even sourced a good one when there was only one with a damaged terminal available)
advantage998, i brought a sd rear cage section quite a while back, but everything was as describe and was a nice easy deal
turbophil, i saw at mitp and i got a few things off, seemed a nice fella and ill be using his expertise in the future for sure
