I would like to recommend Paul S as a good seller, I bought a k100 head off him last week, he showed me round his cars and even changed my leakey rocker gasket for me, well recommended

Community spirit in modern day society seems to non-exisitant, but on turbominis its definitely alive and kicking. Just wanted to give a big thanks to Wez. I got a part from a member on the 16v forum, but he couldnt post. Wez kindly picked it up and wrapped it up for the courier.

Thanks again Wez

Recently purchased a staight cut gearbox which was perfect but on top of that he spent the day showing me how it all works and how to strip one and what to look out for. For any one thinking of doing it your self but it looks daunting its really not as bad as it looks.

Done now needs redoing lol

Mr Fenton!
Goes without saying really. He got stuck at work as we arrived which wasnt his fault. But his wife(?) was very welcoming, offered us tea, and entertainment in the form of their dog Asha. Even had a quick natter about the daily hack and shared with us some useful information.
Cheers Tom!

Bit of an update;

Well, I've bought and sold a few things over the years on here and thought it time to add a few more recommendations to the list in no particular order;

Turbo phil; got carb rebuild kit off him and he sorted out the exhaust manifold and elbow - top work
Jon Flannigan (gialofly); got a cracking set of SC drops a while ago now
Sprocket; bought a couple of things now;
AP Bellamy; good buyer and understanding - if only i'd checked the parts better first!
John; not through forum but he bought from me through e-bay; quick payer
Wolfie; bought a welder off him ages ago and he sent me an inertia switch last week; top bloke
Fastcarl; got a set of special alloys converted and block work done; top work and excellent service; nuff said
TurboDave; got one of his alloy front plates; I think it got to me quicker from the states than mainland UK!
Adam-R; good guy and seller; met me half way for collection
Tom Fenton; got the crank sensor bracket and pulley set; does exactly what it says on the tin
Jason G; easy guy to deal with both buying and selling; the heat sheild is a cracking piece
Iain; bought a flywheel off him; a very patient and fair man!
Madmk1; got a megajolt off him - perfect transaction
bennyy; just got an intercooler through the post; easy purchase
theoneeeyedlizard; sold some discs to; no issues
pot_dan; sold to - no issues
ministef1; bought some filters off; no issues

to anyone I've not mentioned, please don't take it I don't rate you, I've simply forgotten - In honesty, I've had no bad dealings on this forum and I hope it stays this way

Have to report problems with sausage-man (who I now see has been reported before) and kevsturbo (who is now a banned user).
Usual problem with both - full of enthusiasm until the crunch point of making the paypal transfer,then silence.Ho hum.

Avoid whisperingwillowtarot on Ebay. He is located in Ingrave, Essex. I bought a
Universal 36-1 ECU Trigger Wheel - 5.20" diameter with 4.2" hole
from him, paid 20 pounds more than a month ago and still haven't received the item. The seller does not respond to emails.
Ebay has been contacted to solve the problem. I will give this seller negative feedback after the weekend and will try to get my money back via the Ebay buyers protection scheme. Anyway you have been warned. It's a cheap trigger wheel, but don't step into the trap.

I've had very good experiences with:
Nic - with a pukka megajolt ecu!
Brett - A nice edis and coil pack
Blister - Black bumper
Benross - Brilliant engine services!
Matty - Brand new ND alternator
Retroracer 1380 - mk1 heater
apbellamy - speedo worm drive & curly wurly *happy*
mercenary62 - Brake pedal
Paul S - Turbo flange
May have forgotten some others, but all of the above have been great to deal with!!

Both great sellers. Easy to communicate with and flexible about sending items to NZ.

Highly recommended!

Minimole23 - A046 tyres - absolute pleasure to deal with, very nice chap and even gave me a lift to my car in another field so I didn't have to lug a set of tyres on my lonesome, very recommended.

Lee1324 - Met Lee today for a pair of doors and a subframe, again a fantastic member to deal with, very pleasant and highly recommended.

lousy seller Dev11.. i send him the goods back yet he got hands on the money trough paypal and acts like his nose is bleeding... so he has his parts and my money.

you can do anything if you set your mind to it...
i rather blow it up winning than keep it together losing.

finish date set for project 1... march 2018
