ive just bought a set of vented discs,4 pot calipers on metty hubs from himley.
how do i fit on my mini. mine has 8.4 solids on at moment so i need pipe conversion kits and era bolts, i think any ideas on where to get them from?

whats the best way to fit them do i just use my original hubs brgs etc bolt the calipers on with the discs and use the metty drive flanges?

rough idea how they did theres that would be great

p.s not a clue what year of metty there off but they were only a tenna for the pair *tongue*

no longer a series, but still 1.3 turbo.

Sounds like a bargain 2 me.
They usually ship for much more than that on Ebay.

It's a good question as I also fancy upgrading to vented. So I would also appreciate advice.

where do you get the bolts from?

yeah cordantium i was pretty chuffed with them needs new discs pads and im gonna recon the calipers i bet i can do all that for about a tonne *smiley*

no longer a series, but still 1.3 turbo.

why do you need to fit era bolts, won't the old 1s do?

you can get 'equivalent' bolts from minispares aswell as other specialists...

Sold the turbo and seeing what the C20XE can do!

Near Lincoln

the reason being, mini's are all imperial, bolt shank, thread etc.

metro's are all metric,

therefore the callipers have a metric sized hole with an imperial thread in the mini hub hence needing the special bolt *smiley*
