Yep, dodged a bit of a pricey bullet today!
Due to the high winds we seem to be experiencing at the moment. And my carelessness/laziness when last covering my shell up. The cover worked its way up and blew off my shell today, which admittedly doesnt sound too bad!

However, resting over the engine bay not attached to the car whatsoever was my very expensive visible weave carbon bonnet! uh oh!
It blew off the car and down the drive, my dad found it with the top face dpwn! :(

However, since i seem to be captain jammy at the moment somehow it isnt scratched anywhere except the inside corner which you wont see when its on the car anyway!

see, good things do happen to bad people!

my luck ran out today .... i cut the tip of my thumb off at work!

that'll teach me to gloat about my good fortunes! :p

on the subject of high winds....

i was driving to work yesterday and i had to swerve onto the other side of the road to avoid the shed that was rapidly coming up the road towards me!
