1.3 Turbo Engine 54k miles - complete set-up

I am breaking a rather dilapidated Metro Turbo, all complete and mainly standard.

The engine is currently in an F reg model with 5 owners and 54k, it runs fine apart from an intermitant problem with the fuel pump, this is down I think to some rather suspect wiring in the car body loom. The engine itself is fine and doesn't smoke on cold startuop or on boost. I have driven approx 30 miles in it with no issues, the box itself is quiet & smooth with precise gearchanges and it is alot quieter than the gearbox in my cooper.

The ECU has been removed. It has had a carb service kit fitted, new head gasket set and new timing chain, tensioner and crankshaft sprocket keyway. This was all done in October 2006.

A dumpvalve and bleed valve have been fitted but are non-functional atm. I am not sure what the real reason was but the previous owner stated that it was to protect the engine till it was set up on a rolling road.

You can come and take the engine for offers around £450 or take the whole car (MOT'd till November and taxed till may) good brakes etc for offers around £550 the car is BRG and needs 2 new doors and a bit of TLC.

I may be more flexible in price if I can get a sale this weekend as it is causing a few arguements which is my reason for sale!

Hi it is a shame hence why it has also been advertised as the complete car, it has been rejected by the MG preservation brigade when I put it up for sale anyhow.

lol @ dangerous there is no sunroof so no leak problems there
