Smart Guy!

mainland europe near ze germans

this is the email I got from Mr Elder

Thank you for your inquiry regarding the Elder 8 port head.
The head complete ready to bolt on is AUD$3250.00
The twin DCOE manifold AUD$250.00
Extractors for a mini or sprite AUD325.00
Freight to the Netherlands typically AUD275.00
From the time of ordering delivery would be approximately 8-10 weeks.
I would require 50% deposit with the order and the balance when the head is ready for dispatch.
Please do not hesitate to email me for further information.
Regards Ken Elder.

I'm not really shure about the extractor sizing but it is a basicly a steal at this price and i looks kinda funky. of course for a turbo setup this is a non item.

That sir, is not rust, it is the progressive mass reduction system

Not bad, works out about the same as a 7 port, if you get the head work done by some one other than minisport.

Why would you want this over a BMW 16v?

It makes more sense than an Arden, BUT ardens/weslakes are homologated.

Lovely head BUT I can't see why anyone would want to spank that much cash on one, considering the BMW heads available......

Those mexican weslakes look VERY VERY nice and are cheaper still IIRC...then again, still more than a BMW

Bugger off, I'm getting there.

Old news.

Some one came on here a month or so ago trying to stirr up a reaction to certain comments within that thread

Is it A-Series only? I think it should be...
So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'...
