Buying 2nd hand valves could be OK. What's wrong with the ones you've got? If you need to oay anyone for grinding valves etc you'd be better off fitting new ones. They're less than £10 from Minispares. Then you could bin the rubbish turbo exhaust valves as well. Also, turbo guides are very expensive, and if you ream out standard ones, the nose of the guide will be very thin, and require some attention.

Unless you've got some expensive machinery and know how to use it. I'd outsource this. I'd use the standard valves possibly Cooper S size inlets and have these reground and back cut. That's all there is in mine, and it's not that slow. 14,2 sec quarter. On 13th Jul, 2012 Ben H said:
