ive replaced the coil,dizzy cap,points,condenser,leads,plugs and carburretta but my car stil backfores very bad, misses all the time, wont go over 2000rpm or do more than 20mph. ne ideas?

it may b small but it purfectly formed

i rekon your best bet is to forgot what youve done allready and start again recheck everything again twice iff need be.
have you checked tappets, compressions etc.
are all your carb connections good, is the mixture ok, is your dash pot topped up. is that little pipe on the carb ok ,whats fuel pressure like? is your ig timing ok

and spend a bit of time looking through old posts on here something pop up, good look *smiley*

no longer a series, but still 1.3 turbo.

ok thanks for the advise. ive had to adjust the mixture so its runnin really rich and now smokes a little bit, but on the gud points, i can now rev freely to 3000rpm!!!
ill keep checking tho, thanks agen minime
