I'm trying to work out how to drive a supercharger.

I'm going to use a standard 5 rib poly-v pulley from Minispares on the crank and water pump. I think this is the same as fitted to the MPi minis.

The standard Bini blower pulley is too small for what I need, so I am looking to fit a larger one.

Fenner do these taper lock pulleys and seem to be ideal:

They can be fitted on a parallel, non-keyed shaft so suit the blower.

The question is: Does the Rover/Minispares poly-v system use the same belt section? I'm guessing it is the "PK" section with 3.56mm pitch.

Blower pulley or crank pulley ??

I had pulleys for mine made by ASP in Texas. They were around $125 each. Very good service from them too.

Mine are a 12 rib PK section. I would imagine nearly all automotive applications use PK.

Blower Pulley.

I can get a 5 rib crank, alternator and water pump pulley from Minispares.

I need a 100mm blower pulley that will fit the Bini blower shaft which does not have a keyway, hence the taper lock.

I agree, all automotive applications seem to be PK section.

Do any of the BMW Mini tuners make anything ?

As I say, if you sent your currently pulley to ASP they will make you anything you want.

Although no doubt there are people who can do it in the UK

Pace also list they make pulleys on their website.

On my vmax setup, one side of the charger shaft has been ground down and the pulley has a grub screw.
I will be contacting stuart on Monday to try and obtain a replacement pulley to fit the spare charger I have, i'll ask if he's prepared to sell a complete set of at least provide a source.
Maybe i'll try a call to him today!
I'll let you know.
