hi

when i bought my turbo off ebay a while ago, i was told it was a T2 of a R5.

can you tell from the pics if its the water cooled type?
or what it exactly is?

i have no reason to doubt it is, im just not 100% sure what connector is what etc (i have an idea just want to double check).

if anyone who could be kind enough to have a look and wants more pics just ask.

cheers
josh

The two studs and water pipe unions show that it's definately an R5GT spec T2.

Sold the turbo and seeing what the C20XE can do!

Near Lincoln

yes, wateris the "push on" connections (actually banjo fittings)

the big hole is for the oil drain and the smaller one the oil feed.

Thats identical to my R5GTT turbo.
