what did the sports pack cars use as a spare wheel. im guessing a 12 inch wheel as there nearly the same as a 13 inch wheel but still fits in the boot

Yes the 12" standard steelie was used as a spare on Sports pack Minis

I bought a full size spare, its a Weller Motorsport rim and a Monza tyre, cheapo cheapo. Its a bit of a bugger as it wont sit in the well in the boot floor, so i drilled two holes in the seat back and use a ratchet strap to hold it upright. The full size spare is a good idea if you travel long distance. You dont need to wory about limiting speed like you do with a space saver Edited by Sprocket on 27th Jan, 2007.
