ok, im havin a bit of trouble sourcing a metro turbo lump, so i was thinking about buying a standard 1275 mini engine and turboing that..it will be a daily driver (not much of a distance tho) and its got to be very quick, about 5 secs to 60, either 1330 or 1380..any advice i could get from the experts would be greatly recieved, i've done a search on what i will need and so far came up with;

t3 turbo on mirage manifold
p2 cam
megajolt
intercooler
oil cooler
turbo carb and plenum?
omega forged pistons?
straight cut gears and drops
lightened and balanced crank
dunno what head?
also what sort of c/r am i looking for?

could someone point me in the right direction?
cheers*smiley*

anyone can drive in a straight line...

T3 will not be as bad on larger overbores as the lag time will be cut down, i am sure any one on here will tell you that any a+ block will be fine to use as a base for a turbo lump they are the same as a n/a block, use the search on this website quite a few people are experimenting with 1380 turbos nowadays, hope that helps.

sorry and as for the head a metro turbo item or a modified n/a metro head that has been modified by a mini specialist will work, and if i remember correctly a n/a is better to use as there is more meat around the exhaust valve but i will probs be corrected.
