I took my cylinder head and manifolds up to Fort Benross this saturday, and i managed to twist his arm into taking me for a spin in the yellow machine. He took me down a "private road" and gave it the beans. The road was a bit greasy and as you can imagine it was torque steering a tad as we came off the round about and after a few seconds we were doing X miles an hour!!! Its easily the fastest car ive ever been in! My brother recently bought a megane 225 and i thought that was fast! Jesus H Steves mini is stupid!
1/4 Mile 14.3secs 96Mph Terminal 10psi of boost.

Nope, but believe me it was fookin fast! 1/4 Mile 14.3secs 96Mph Terminal 10psi of boost.

You can never get the full sense of speed from that sort of video. All my trackday footage looks like I'd be faster walking.

I finally got my mini running after my rebuild and after a bit of setting up on a long private road, it goes well! Feels wrong to be going that quick in a mini! |

allas i was not so lucky, the engine was on its pedestall when i went to Benross International Engineering / bacon Sarny making LTD kinda feel robbed and cheated !! the car is overall so tidy !!! even without the engine in !!!! Steve you should raise ure head high with pride good fella

car was going that fast that he momentarily went back in time and the jpeg ends ! thats why Steve has kept his Boyish looks all these years, driving anticlockwise in a turbo mini is condusive to youthfull looks ! now go try it yourself.........
