A mate of mine rolled a 3 day old sport pack when he had to try and get away from some twit on the wrong side of the road round a blind bend!!! Rear wheel dug into the soft verge as he tried to correct the near spin the car ended up in.... gutted!!!

Ok, maybe I am missing something but why is it easier to roll them with 13" wheels? I personally wouldn't use anything else on my own cars!! cause they offer more grip , and are therefore better.

never got close to rolling on road tyres, always lose grip first.

I personally wouldn't use anything else on my own cars!! Mainly due to the fact that most cars fitted with 13s even from the factory are poorly setup, with weird and wonderful caster, camber angles and the added weight of the rims, exagerates some of the issues withh the standard mini suspension. That not to say that 13s cannot work, there is just very few cars with them fitted that actualy do. |

Lift off oversteer in a Mini? Can't say I have ever experienced that, I must have been doing something wrong all these years driving them.

Did not learn and refitted wheels to new car but fitting 10s at same venue made car 4 seconds a lap quicker! (Lydden not Goodwood where pic is taken btw) On 5th Sep, 2011 Vegard said:
