if you fit a flip front to it, fixing the scuttles a doddle and you wont have to put all the other panels back... "Turbo's make torque, and torque makes fun"

Sound advice guys, i myself dont have a welder or the skills to weld a panel yet. So any idea of a rough price it would cost a bodyshop to weld in a new scuttle, minus the paint etc cos i can do that?

Yeah that sounds a good idea, as they obviously charge by the hour! I can rub everything down and treat it all, take the windscreen out etc and i already have stripped the interior so basically its just a case of them cutting off the old scuttle and welding a new one on depending on if i cut it off first or not.

if you find a body shop tell them what you are wanting to do and seek and vice so you can pretty much prep the shell for them ie cut out the rotten bits carefully and clean all the surfaces to be welded thatway they spend less time on the job = cheaper for ya wallet :)
