Mitsi Evo 7, 911, Cossie. & all the chavs ...... won no problem

have you snapped the exhaust ?

after diff bracket around 4 to 6" back

having said that the maniflow down pipe are fine to a........ point

what happens is the nuckle after 90 deg bend the one with the two springs on pulls to one side as there is not enough clearence to accomadate this on a mini

realy its a bad desighn in my book *surprised*

centre the knuckle and mig it so it does not move

try this option first if not put it to bed with the flexi braded coupler

OK

No broken exhaust, in fact no turbo yet!
I'm just buying the pipe etc to fabricate the downpipe and Exhaust system, I was thinking of using a 6" braided flexpipe just about where you suggested then wondered if the turbo itself was OK with a solid mount or needed a bit of flex (for expansion etc) I guess the solid mount helps support the turbo anyway.

I guess in the back of my mind is my Saab, it has one by the turbo and one in the exhaust just after the cat.

As close to the drivetrain as possible, and making sure the solid section at the engine is well secured before the flexi.

The further the flexi is away from the engine, the more leverage will be placed on any solid sections before it, which can cause fractures.

speed didn't kill me, but taxation probably will
