finally got the bulkhead box welded in today and now the next step is getting the engine built, but i need a head gasket set. everywhere i have tried couldent get one until next week, and i really want to get on with it, for a few reasons i have 2 head gaskets that have literally been on my engine, torqued up and then taken off with in about a month (i put the engine in and found the gearbox was knackerd before it ran so it all came back out and in bits) is it worth the risk to use this or should i just wait and buy a new one, price isent an issue and i am not rushing anything, but if it is all the same then why wait? but if its going to be more likely to go because of this then i will have to. any thoughts on this would be appreciated, i really want to get on with it!

If your not rushing, i would get a new one for the cost of one! its not a quick job to change the head gasket! |
