I have an oil leak from the half moon seal on the gearbox. Has anyone replaced this seal? Would i get away with loosening the gearbox bolts and raising the block slightly? Or am i gona need to strip the engine down? Cheers

leeds/wakefield.

if you crack the box off ,you'll disturb the paper gaskets between the block and box, so you will need to strip down,
