Good question. Apparently the nipple hase shown positive results in some tests. Not bothered about it really, just wanted 6cc dish.

looks like a hot spot will i i think id have that off pronto ! i might be drivelling though ive done no experiments with that type.

I did think about the possibility of a hot-spot. I actually have 2 sets, on set with a pip and one without.

These are going in as they are and we'll see what happens.

I think that there is enough meat around the for it not to be a problem. Might even aid combustion.

Simon at morspeed did them. We are not the first to have it done. He has done it from experiance with zetec engines IIRC. It has show to make small gains apparently. If nothing else it causes interest.

I can see how it would work in a zetec or other 16v engine as the "nipple" would be below the plug and act a bit like the beak in an A head,

just a gut feeling but i think a "finger" from the centre to the outside of the crown under the beak may work.
